Larry has been an attorney in the life sciences field for over thirty years providing strategic, regulatory and operational guidance to privately–held and listed companies in the drug and medical device industries. As National Coordinating and Trial Counsel for multiple targets of “bet-the-company” health care litigation, Larry was responsible for developing protocols, procedures and strategies, collaborating with scientific, medical, financial and regulatory experts, establishing and ensuring compliance with budgetary goals and coordinating teams of professionals. As the first Managing Shareholder of Segal McCambridge, Larry was instrumental in transforming a boutique Chicago law firm into a highly regarded national powerhouse with more than 200 employees, with offices in seven states.

Before attending law school, Larry worked in a neurobiology lab performing research to develop processes to detect neurotransmitter activity, and to determine association of hormone levels with psychiatric conditions. Larry’s work culminated in co-authoring  four articles published in peer-reviewed journals.

Larry obtained his B.A. degree, majoring in biology and political science, from Drew University in 1983 in Madison, NJ, and his J.D. degree from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, MO in 1986.
